OG Bounce Mushroom

OG Bounce Mushroom is a Rhodactis-type corallimorph associated with inflated surface vesicles. That trade name does not specify the current disc diameter or degree of inflation, so assess the individual mushroom and allow open space around its supporting rock.

Begin in a low-light, low-flow area where the fleshy disc is not battered by pumps or pressed against another coral. Gradual acclimation and a secure attachment point help it settle. Avoid making abrupt lighting changes in an attempt to enlarge the bubbles; protect the whole animal's condition rather than chasing a particular shape.

Small portions of meaty marine food can supplement its photosynthetic nutrition. Let the mushroom grasp the food and close around it at its own pace, and remove food it releases. Keep its growing edge away from delicate neighbours.
