Malaysian Joker Torch Coral (Per Head)

Malaysian Joker Torch Coral is a per-head torch selection with long tentacles that need an open position in the aquarium. Plan placement around the fully extended polyp and its reach in changing currents, rather than only the width of the supporting skeleton.

Use moderate light and indirect water movement as an initial setup. Acclimate gradually and check that the tentacles sway without folding tightly over the skeleton. Keeping alkalinity and calcium consistent supports the skeleton as the coral grows.

Occasional small portions of meaty marine food can complement photosynthesis. Allow time for capture and avoid feeding more than the coral retains. Maintain generous separation from neighbouring corals, including other large-polyp stony types, because a torch's stinging tentacles can reach beyond its usual daytime outline.
