Euphyllia coral for reef tanks

The Euphyllia shopping group brings together familiar flowing LPS corals such as torches, hammers and frogspawn, although modern taxonomy places hammers and frogspawn in Fimbriaphyllia. Choose by the actual coral type and skeletal growth form as well as its appearance.

These corals need stable reef conditions, secure support and room for inflated tissue. Acclimate lighting gradually and use changing circulation that moves their tentacles without folding the flesh onto the skeleton. Small marine foods can supplement photosynthesis when accepted; feeding response varies between colonies.

Shared shop grouping does not mean safe physical contact. Torches can damage hammers and frogspawn, and all require attention to spacing and stinging reach. Branching and wall forms also differ in growth and resilience. Inspect the specific colony before planning a mixed garden and preserve its clearance as neighbouring corals expand.
