Cotton Candy Torch Coral ( Per Head)

Cotton Candy Torch Coral is offered per head and has the long, flowing tentacles typical of a torch. Leave room around each open polyp so its movement remains clear of nearby rockwork and other coral colonies.

Begin with moderate illumination, allowing time to adapt to a different reef light. Variable, indirect water movement should keep the tentacles in motion without pinning them to one side. Stable placement protects the fleshy polyp from contact with hard surfaces and helps you observe changes during acclimation.

Small suitable marine foods can supplement photosynthesis, although acceptance varies. Give the coral time to take a small portion and remove food it releases. Torches can send out stinging sweepers, so do not pack this coral tightly into a mixed LPS garden or assume neighbouring colonies can safely touch it.
