Black Domino Ocellaris Clownfish

The black domino ocellaris clownfish is a colour form of Amphiprion ocellaris, distinguished by a dark body and contrasting white spots. The location and shape of those markings vary, so inspect the available fish if a particular pattern is important to you.

Its feeding needs remain those of an ocellaris clownfish. Offer suitable small marine pellets or flakes with foods such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp for variety. Provide an established aquarium with shelter and calm areas in which it can establish a routine.

An anemone is optional; it brings its own lighting, space and care requirements. Introduce other clownfish thoughtfully and watch for persistent chasing. A shared colour form does not establish that two fish are a compatible pair, especially when either already holds a territory.
