The Yellow Angelfish, Centropyge heraldi, is also known as Herald's or the False Lemonpeel Angelfish. Its yellow body lacks the strong blue eye ring associated with a Lemonpeel, an important distinction when identifying a yellow dwarf angel.

An established aquarium should provide plentiful live-rock grazing surfaces, caves and room to move. It can become territorial toward other dwarf angelfish, especially where several fish compete for the same shelter and food. A small body does not remove those space requirements.

Supply marine algae and suitable herbivore preparations alongside varied meaty foods. Watch the fish around clams, anemones and corals: this species may nip them. Strong feeding and mature rockwork support its needs, but they cannot guarantee compatibility with every coral collection or individual invertebrate.
