Ultra Rock Flower Anemone

The Ultra Rock Flower Anemone has a broad central disc surrounded by shorter, often textured tentacles. Rock flowers offer considerable variation in color and pattern and can create an attractive focal point near the lower rockwork.

Provide a secure place to attach, either in a rock crevice or at the rock-and-sand boundary. Moderate light and water movement are useful starting conditions, with gradual adjustment to the aquarium. Leave room around the disc and avoid repeatedly moving an animal that has settled.

Offer small marine meaty foods such as mysis, managing portions so food is captured rather than left to decay. Although rock flowers often stay near a chosen attachment site, they can move and still possess stinging tentacles. Protect equipment intakes and give neighboring livestock adequate clearance.
