Ultra Ritteri Anemone

The Ultra Ritteri Anemone is a magnificent-anemone type with long tentacles and substantial space requirements. Heteractis magnifica is a demanding host anemone whose aquarium should be designed around its light, circulation and attachment needs.

Provide strong reef lighting and vigorous, changing water movement. Ritteri anemones often seek exposed, elevated attachment points and may move until they find suitable conditions. Leave broad clearance from corals and protect every accessible pump intake, rather than assuming the animal will remain on its initial rock.

Offer manageable portions of marine meaty foods while maintaining very stable water quality. Its strong sting and potential expansion make crowded mixed reefs difficult homes. The Ultra label describes a sales selection, not easier care; this species is appropriate for an experienced anemone keeper with a prepared system.
