The Turban Snail is an algae grazer with a raised, textured shell that moves across rockwork and aquarium glass. It can complement other marine snails when the aquarium offers established hard surfaces and enough food to support a mixed grazing group.

Arrange accessible routes around live rock, including sheltered crevices. If natural algae is reduced, offer dried marine seaweed and check that the snail is feeding. Avoid treating a visually clean aquarium as proof that all grazers have enough to eat.

Maintain calcium and stable marine water chemistry to support the shell. Keep copper-based medications out of its system and consider the behavior of snail-eating tankmates. Secure loose frags in the snail's path so normal grazing and climbing do not repeatedly dislodge them.
