Trochus Snail

Trochus snails are marine algae grazers that work across aquarium glass and rock surfaces. They are useful to consider when the tank has established grazing areas and you want an animal that feeds directly on those surfaces.

Trochus-type snails are known for their ability to right themselves after falling, although aquarium keepers should still check animals that remain overturned or inactive. Leave accessible grazing routes around the rockwork and observe where the snails spend their time.
