SPS frag Assorted

Assorted SPS Frags offer a way to add small-polyp stony corals to an established reef. The selection can include different growth forms, so check the identity and current shape of the frag before choosing its permanent position.

SPS is a broad aquarium grouping, not one set of care requirements. Many types need bright light and substantial circulation, but intensity and placement should follow the actual coral. Acclimate gradually and leave space for growth, including any branches or plates that could shade nearby colonies or restrict water movement.

Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium support skeletal growth. Monitor consumption as the reef fills in, since successful growth can change the aquarium's demands. Feeding requirements also vary; identify the selected coral before deciding whether supplemental fine foods will be useful.
