Seatorch DC Pump 4000

The Seatorch DC Pump 4000 is the 4,000 L/h size in Seatorch's aquarium pump range. It is an option for moving water through a return or compatible circulation system where the plumbing and overflow are suited to its delivery.

Use the intended pumping height and pipe arrangement when selecting the pump. A maximum output figure is measured under less restrictive conditions than many aquarium installations, and a narrow outlet path can substantially reduce useful flow.

Leave the pump accessible for disconnection and cleaning, particularly around the impeller and inlet. When commissioning the system, observe the overflow, check for leaks and confirm the sump can contain water returning during a shutdown. Recheck operation after maintenance rather than assuming the previous water levels will be unchanged.
