Seachem Flourite Gravel

Seachem Flourite Red and Flourite Dark are porous clay gravels for freshwater planted aquariums. These variants offer different colours while providing a stable substrate bed for planting. Seachem states that the gravel is not chemically coated and does not alter aquarium pH.

Choose colour and quantity around the aquascape's footprint, planting plan, and desired substrate depth. Flourite can be used alone or mixed with other gravel, and its physical structure is intended to remain usable over the life of the aquarium. Plant nutrition, lighting, and carbon supply still need to suit the plants being grown.

Rinse before installation to remove dust generated during handling. Add water slowly over a bowl or plate to limit disturbance, and clean mechanical filter media if it collects the resulting fine particles. The listed Red and Dark options are 7.7 lb bags.
