Pink Streaked Wrasse

The Pink Streaked Wrasse is a small, retiring reef fish with fine lines along its body and conspicuous eyes. It often spends its initial settling-in period close to cover before becoming more visible.

Give it a network of small retreats within mature rockwork and choose tankmates that will not repeatedly chase it. More assertive lined wrasses can be a poor fit for its comparatively passive temperament. Its small size does not protect it from bullying.

Offer tiny frozen marine foods and appropriately sized prepared foods, checking acceptance rather than assuming all items will be eaten. Place food where the wrasse can reach it without crossing exposed territory. A calm feeding environment helps make this discreet fish easier to observe and maintain.
