Orange Skunk Clownfish

The Orange Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion sandaracinos) has a broad white stripe running along the top of an orange-yellow body. Unlike the Pink Skunk Clownfish, it lacks pale bars at the sides of the head; its tail also retains orange colouring.

This comparatively gentle clownfish benefits from a peaceful community. Aggressive residents can keep it away from food or shelter, so choose companions with temperament in mind rather than treating every clownfish as equally assertive.

Feed appropriately sized, varied marine omnivore foods and confirm the current feeding routine. If you want to keep two, ask about their observed relationship rather than relying on a similar size or appearance. Provide a retreat where a quieter individual can rest without being driven away by a more dominant neighbour.
