Matrikx CTO Carbon Block

Matrikx CTO is a coconut-shell carbon block for reducing chlorine taste and odour in water filtration. In an appropriate RO pretreatment arrangement, a carbon stage helps protect the membrane from chlorine exposure after the sediment filter has captured larger particles.

Check the cartridge dimensions and the system's required rating before selecting a replacement. CTO is a product family, so the name alone does not establish fit in every housing. Follow the filter and RO-system instructions for preparation and replacement, and use appropriate chlorine testing to assess protection rather than relying on the water's appearance.
