Marble Cat Shark

Marble Cat Shark requires a dedicated plan for adult floor space and life support. Sharks offered under similar marbled-cat names include species reaching approximately 60–95 cm (2–3 feet). Confirm the scientific identity before finalising an enclosure; the footprint must let the adult move and turn comfortably around its shelters.

Use fine sand, broad unobstructed bottom areas and securely supported caves or overhangs. These bottom-dwelling sharks benefit from sheltered daytime resting places. Effective biological filtration, waste removal and oxygenation are essential because substantial marine meals place a heavy load on the system.

Arrange a varied marine seafood diet with appropriate shark nutrition and supplementation guidance; plain shrimp or fish alone is incomplete. Check that the individual is feeding successfully. Small fish and invertebrates may become food, while persistent nippers can injure a resting shark. Compatibility and feeding access need to be assessed before any tankmates are added.
