Lamarick's Angelfish

Lamarck's angelfish, Genicanthus lamarck, is a striped swallowtail angelfish with a pale body and flowing profile. Males and females differ in their markings, so the general listing does not promise a particular sex or identical appearance to every reference photograph.

Allow generous swimming space above and around rock shelters. Feed small marine meaty foods and balanced angelfish preparations regularly, with algae-based foods included for variety. Make sure an individual receives its share when housed with fast, active feeders.

This species is commonly selected for reef communities, but every introduction still needs observation. Other angelfish and similarly active residents require enough room to retreat and feed. A randomly chosen pair should not be treated as an established social unit; check compatibility and current specimen details before combining fish.
