Joker Torch (Per Head)

Joker Torch is a per-head torch coral with long tentacles that end in rounded tips. Leave an open zone around the coral so that this moving polyp remains clear of nearby colonies as it extends and the current changes direction.

Moderate light and indirect circulation suit initial placement. Acclimate patiently, securing the skeleton where the tissue can expand without being pushed against rock. Avoid abrupt changes aimed at forcing colour or extension.

Photosynthesis supplies energy, and occasional small marine foods may be accepted. Keep portions modest and observe the response. Torch corals can extend stinging sweepers, making spacing a central part of their care. Inspect the colony after dark as well as in daylight and preserve that clearance when surrounding coral growth begins to close the gap.
