Green Bubble Tip Anemone

The Green Bubble Tip Anemone brings flowing tentacles and green coloration to a mature reef aquarium. Bubble-tip anemones attach their foot within rockwork, extending into the light and current while retaining a protected anchoring point.

Provide suitable reef lighting, moderate water movement and a crevice for attachment. The anemone can move when conditions do not suit it, so leave clearance from corals and guard exposed pump intakes. A chosen starting position does not guarantee where it will settle.

Photosynthetic partners supply much of its energy, with appropriately sized marine meaty foods offered as supplemental nutrition. Keep feeding portions manageable and remove uneaten food. Clownfish may use bubble tips as hosts, but a particular pairing is never assured, and tentacle tips do not always retain a bubbled shape.
