Eheim 150 Watt Thermocontrol Aquarium Heater

The EHEIM 150 W thermocontrol is an adjustable glass aquarium heater for freshwater or marine systems. Its thermostat lets you choose a temperature from 18–34°C, with an indicator lamp showing when the heating element is active.

This wattage is one step in a range of different heater sizes. Select it for the water volume and the temperature increase needed above room temperature; a cold room and an open aquarium require more heating capacity than a covered tank in a warm space.

The heater can operate fully submerged and includes dry-run shutoff protection. Mount it where circulating water can distribute heat, and check the actual aquarium temperature with a separate thermometer. The adjustment scale can be recalibrated when necessary; the dial setting should be verified against the water, especially during initial setup.
