CaribSea PyroFlora Volcanic Substrate 6lb

CaribSea PyroFlora 6lb is a planted-aquarium substrate made with volcanic mineral material. Its approximately 1–3mm, rounded grains form a planting bed with spaces that allow water and oxygen to reach the roots.

Use it when planning the rooted portion of a freshwater aquascape. Choose a depth that supports the plants you intend to grow and keep the crowns of suitable plants above the surface during planting. Continue matching lighting and nutrition to the plants' actual needs; substrate selection is one part of maintaining a planted aquarium.
