Acid Drop Bubbletip Anemone

The Acid Drop Bubbletip Anemone is a named bubble-tip selection for a mature, well-lit reef. Like other Entacmaea quadricolor, it attaches with a muscular foot and can extend flowing tentacles above a sheltered rock crevice.

Prepare the attachment area and protect pump intakes before adding it. Moderate indirect current and appropriate reef lighting support normal expansion, but the anemone will choose its own position and may move. Leave space around nearby corals to account for both its sting and future growth.

Its nutrition combines photosynthesis with supplemental marine meaty foods. Offer modest, manageable portions and avoid allowing excess food to collect around the foot. Stable salinity and temperature are essential. Tentacle bubbling and color intensity can change with conditions, so a trade name is not a fixed promise of appearance.
