Acropora coral frags

Acropora are small-polyp stony corals whose growth and health depend on an established reef environment. Compare your aquarium’s water stability, lighting, and circulation with the needs of the particular coral before choosing a frag.

Leave room for growth and water movement around the intended position. Monitor the water chemistry needed by stony corals, including calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium, and base maintenance on measured consumption. A coral’s colour in a photograph is not a substitute for understanding the conditions under which it has been kept.
