WWC Skittle Bomb Cyphastrea Frag

WWC Skittle Bomb is a named Cyphastrea frag, with small individual polyps spread across an encrusting surface. Its appeal comes from the contrast between the base tissue and the polyps rather than the long branches or large fleshy heads of other coral groups.

Begin in a low to moderate light position and acclimate gradually if moving it brighter. Provide indirect circulation that prevents sediment from collecting on the growing surface. Leave the surrounding rock available for expansion instead of crowding the frag between other encrusting corals.

Keep alkalinity, calcium and salinity stable as its skeleton develops. Fine coral foods may be offered sparingly, with nutrient levels monitored.
