Tunze 0222.015 Care Magnet Long Pack of 1

The Tunze Care Magnet Long 0222.015 is a magnetic glass cleaner sized for aquarium panes 10–15 mm thick. Its narrow inner assembly uses scraping blades, with clearance between the magnet body and the pane to reduce the chance of trapping sand under a broad cleaning pad.

Use the plastic blades for routine algae removal. The supplied stainless-steel blade is intended for tougher deposits on glass, such as established calcareous algae. The Care Booster accessories add flotation to the inner cleaner and can improve the grip on the outside.

Choose by actual pane thickness and keep the blades free of grit when working near the substrate. Tunze expressly does not recommend this cleaner for acrylic aquariums. A stronger magnet is not automatically the better choice for thinner glass.
