T Connector

This 1-inch PVC tee creates a branch at a right angle to a straight plumbing run. Its three socket openings connect matching nominal-size pipe, providing a compact way to route water toward another section of an aquarium system.

A tee splits the route, but it does not automatically divide the flow equally. Pipe length, bends and the equipment on each branch influence where the water goes. Allow room for any separate valves and service connections needed by your layout.

Check branch orientation before solvent-welding the assembly. Deburr cut pipe, keep joining surfaces clean, and avoid moving the finished joints while they set. Fill and inspect the plumbing after the required cure period.
