SpectraPure's 10-inch Mixed-Bed Color-Indicating DI Cartridge combines cation and anion exchange resins to polish water after reverse osmosis. It removes remaining dissolved ions as water passes through the resin, helping prepare a low-mineral water supply for aquarium use. The colour indicator provides a visible sign of resin exhaustion.

This cartridge uses the standard 10-inch format; check the housing dimensions and sealing arrangement before fitting it. Monitor the treated water with a TDS meter and replace exhausted media according to the system instructions. It belongs in the water-preparation system, rather than being added directly to the aquarium as a supplement.
