PVC Fip Adaptor

This 3/4-inch PVC female adapter joins a solvent-weld pipe connection to a matching male pipe thread. It is useful where a rigid aquarium plumbing run needs to meet a threaded equipment connection while keeping the pipe side permanently assembled.

Match the nominal pipe size and thread standard on both sides. A 3/4-inch plumbing designation is a nominal connection size, not a measurement of the fitting's outside body.

Use the appropriate joining method at each end: solvent cement belongs at the socket, while the threaded joint needs a plastic-compatible sealing method. Support the surrounding pipe so the adapter is not carrying a pump's weight or being forced into alignment.
