PVC Coupler

This PVC coupler joins two straight pipe ends of the same nominal size. The listed 3/4-inch, 1-inch and 1.5-inch versions have socket connections for solvent-weld assembly, making them useful for extending a pipe run or connecting replacement sections.

Measure the layout with socket insertion depth in mind. The amount of pipe inside each end affects the finished distance between fittings, which matters when aligning an aquarium return line within a tight cabinet.

A solvent-weld coupling forms a permanent joint once properly assembled and cured. Place a separate union where routine disconnection is needed. Prepare clean, square-cut pipe ends and follow the cement manufacturer's cure time before filling the plumbing.
