Polyp Lab Genesis Rock

PolypLab Genesis Rock is fired ceramic biological filtration media for freshwater and marine aquariums. Its porous blocks provide surfaces for microbial colonization and can be positioned in an appropriate sump or filter area. Select the listed pack quantity to suit the space available and the amount of media you intend to use.

Place blocks in circulating water where they can be inspected and cleaned of accumulated debris. Biological media works as part of an established filtration system; it is not an immediate substitute for cycling, adequate oxygenation, or control of feeding and stocking.

When expanding an existing filter, retain mature media while the new blocks colonize. Avoid replacing all biological media together or treating occupied blocks with disinfectants. Periodic removal of loose detritus helps keep the media exposed to moving aquarium water.
