Mixed Color Hammer Coral is a hammer-coral selection whose fleshy polyps need space above and around their skeleton. Choose placement around the open colony and its potential growth, keeping it clear of sharp rock and neighbouring coral tentacles.

A moderate-light starting point allows gradual adjustment to the aquarium. Provide changing water movement that circulates around the tissue without folding it continuously to one side. Keep the base secure and avoid frequent relocation while the coral is settling.

Photosynthesis supports its nutrition; small marine foods are optional when the polyps retain them. Remove rejected portions and avoid heavy target feeding. The mixed-colour label does not establish compatibility with other hammer varieties, so maintain separation and watch for irritation. Keep torches outside its reach and preserve clearance as surrounding corals expand.
