Mixed Color Chalice Coral offers the growth form of a chalice without specifying a single species or colour arrangement. Select a position around the current specimen's shape, leaving accessible space around its edge so future expansion does not run directly into another coral.

Moderate light after acclimation is generally a better starting point than the brightest part of the aquarium. Give the surface enough circulation to stay clean while securing the base against movement. Growing plates can alter local water flow and shade neighbouring corals, so revisit the layout as the colony develops.

Supplementary small frozen or prepared marine foods may be taken even when feeding movements are subtle. Offer limited portions and keep settled waste off the tissue. Chalices can damage other corals through contact, making a maintained gap especially valuable in a crowded mixed reef.
