Lasco Union

A LASCO union adds a removable joint to rigid PVC pipework, allowing a section to separate without cutting the pipe. These socket-ended versions use an O-ring seal at the central union connection and are offered in 3/4-inch, 1-inch and 1.5-inch nominal sizes.

Place a union where a pump or other component needs to come out for cleaning. Leave enough space to loosen the union nut and separate the pipe ends; a union installed against a cabinet wall may be difficult to service.

The socket ends remain solvent-welded to their pipes. Keep the O-ring and mating faces clean during reassembly, avoid pulling misaligned pipework together with the nut, and check the joint after restarting flow.
