Ista If-648 Hang-On Separation Breeder Box (B07F12T5VP)

The ISTA IF-648 is an external hang-on separation box that uses air-driven circulation to exchange water with the aquarium. It provides a contained space for observing small fish or separating juveniles and individuals that need temporary protection from tankmates. Internal dividers let you organize the available space.

Check the aquarium rim before selecting it. ISTA identifies a maximum mounting width of 2.5 cm and does not recommend this model for framed tanks. The manufacturer's dimensions are 26 × 14 × 13 cm; allow additional room to access the lid and connect the circulation system.

Because the box shares aquarium water, it does not provide independent disease quarantine. Monitor circulation and remove accumulated food and waste. Use a suitably sized dedicated aquarium when the animal needs longer-term housing or separate treatment conditions.
