Hologram Hammer Coral

Hologram Hammer Coral is a named hammer variety with soft, shaped tentacle tips above a stony base. It needs a position where its expanded polyps can move freely and remain separated from rough rock edges and the reach of aggressive neighbouring corals.

Moderate illumination and changing, indirect circulation are suitable starting conditions. Let the coral acclimate before adjusting light intensity. Watch that water moves the tentacles without continually folding them against the skeleton or pressing one side into an obstruction.

This coral depends heavily on photosynthesis. Small foods may be accepted, but repeated rejection is a reason to stop target feeding rather than add larger portions. Leave space for its own stinging tentacles and keep it out of reach of torches. Secure the base and avoid squeezing inflated tissue during maintenance.
