Hanna Marine Phosphate LR HI713

The Hanna HI713 is a handheld phosphate colorimeter with a 0.00–2.50 ppm measuring range. Its digital display removes the need to choose the closest shade on a visual test chart, and the broader range can be useful when phosphate exceeds the limits of an ultra-low-range method.

The instrument measures a prepared sample in a cuvette using the ascorbic-acid method. Zero it with the untreated sample, then follow the reagent and timing instructions before reading the reacted sample. Clean glass and consistent sample preparation are important to repeatable testing.

This model uses HI713-25 phosphate reagents. Select replacement supplies by the HI713 model number; a refill for a different phosphate or phosphorus Checker should not be substituted simply because its name sounds similar.
