Hanna Marine Nitrate High Range Checker - HI 782

The Hanna HI782 measures nitrate in saltwater samples with a digital readout, making it useful for following nutrient trends during routine aquarium maintenance. Its high-range method covers 0.0–75.0 ppm nitrate, so it suits situations where a very-low-range test would run out of measuring range.

Testing uses a sample cuvette and a reagent-driven color reaction. Follow the HI782 procedure closely, including sample preparation and reaction timing; the instrument reads the prepared sample rather than continuously monitoring the aquarium.

Use HI782-25 replacement reagents. Components from the HI781 low-range nitrate kit are not interchangeable with this method. This Checker is designed for marine samples, so select a freshwater-specific nitrate method when testing freshwater instead.
