Fauna Marin MB 20 1.3kg is a mixed cation/anion exchange resin for polishing reverse-osmosis water. It removes residual dissolved ions, including silicate, before that water is used for top-offs or salt mixing.
Install it in a suitable resin column after the RO membrane. Monitor the treated water's conductivity or hardness and replace exhausted resin when readings rise; this is source-water treatment media, not a supplement to dose into the aquarium.
