Elbow Connector

An elbow changes the direction of a pipe run, helping route aquarium plumbing around equipment and through limited cabinet space. The listed 1-inch and 1.5-inch sizes let you match the fitting to the nominal pipe size used in the system.

Connection style matters as much as diameter. Check both ends against the adjoining parts, especially when selecting the separately labelled 1-inch SP option; a spigot end and a socket end require different mating components.

Plan bends before cutting pipe and keep the route accessible for future pump removal. Mark the intended direction during layout, because a solvent-welded elbow cannot be rotated after curing. Extra bends also add resistance to the finished plumbing run.
