Assorted Maze Brain Coral is a brain-coral selection with meandering ridges and valleys across its skeleton. The assorted label leaves the exact specimen open, so assess its actual shape and allow room around the tissue and its possible sweeper tentacles when planning placement.

Low to moderate light and indirect circulation are useful starting conditions for common maze brains. Water should move debris out of the valleys without forcing the flesh against the ridges. A secure, accessible position allows you to monitor both sediment collection and tissue condition.

Small portions of mysis or finely chopped marine food can supplement photosynthesis, especially when feeding tentacles emerge in the evening. Keep nearby corals outside its reach and allow time for ingestion. Avoid rough handling or contact with sharp rock, which can injure tissue over the skeleton.
