API Pimafix is an aquarium fish remedy labelled for fungal infections in freshwater and saltwater systems. It is intended for use when the diagnosed problem matches the product's treatment directions, rather than as a general solution for every white spot, damaged fin, or change in fish behaviour.

Check water quality and observe the affected fish before selecting a treatment. Different conditions can look similar, and poor water conditions can continue causing damage even during treatment. Calculate the water volume being treated carefully and follow the current bottle's dose and course length.

API directs users to remove activated carbon where possible and turn off protein skimmers and UV sterilizers during treatment. Maintain adequate aeration and follow the label's water-change instructions. If fish deteriorate or do not respond, reassess the diagnosis with experienced aquatic-health support instead of simply increasing the dose.
