3/4" SCH 40 CAP x S

This 3/4-inch Schedule 40 socket cap closes the end of a matching pipe. It is useful when permanently terminating an unused branch in an aquarium plumbing layout or finishing a section that will not need routine access.

The smooth socket accepts the outside of the pipe; it is not a threaded cleanout closure. Allow for the inserted pipe length when checking available space, and select a nominal 3/4-inch pipe connection rather than measuring the cap's outside diameter.

Make the joint with the specified PVC preparation and solvent cement procedure. Let it cure fully for the installation conditions before testing with water, and inspect the closed end for leaks.
